What children’s books about Connecticut will you find?
As of the writing of this page, we sorted 1,900 books on our Global Bookshelf for kids. And over 600 books waiting to be added. Many of those are set in Connecticut, so keep that in mind. For now, though, you will find some good choices to get you started on your Nutmeg State Journey.
Kids love the Good Night Our World series of board books, and, naturally, there is one for Connecticut. They learn the history of this important original 13th colony state with The Connecticut Colony. The list includes some award-winning chapter books such as Winterbound and The Courage of Sarah Noble.
What are some book sites for kids in Connecticut?
The original Curious George at the Aquarium was the first book of the popular series and the illustrated aquarium was inspired by the Mystic Aquarium in Mystic, CT. Here are some hotels in Mystic, CT.
