CHILDREN’S BOOKS SET IN ARIZONA
Welcome! You’ve reached the part of our Global Bookshelf dedicated to the children’s books set in Arizona.
If you scroll down you will find the list of books for kids ages 0-14. While the list may be small, don’t fret. We’re always adding books to this list.
In the meantime, let me highlight a few for you.
What types of children’s books about Arizona do you have here?
Parents and babies will like seeing some of Arizona’s popular sites with the board book Good Night Arizona. I’ve seen this series at gift shops around the country and parents love collecting them. Kids will enjoy learning about Arizona via the alphabet in G is for Grand Canyon.
Holiday-loving children can see Arizona from above in some of the holiday series books available, such as A Halloween Scare in Arizona.
What are some book-related sites to experience in Arizona?
Glad you asked! Several of Arizona’s cities host book festivals, however, I found something a little different via one of my favorite sites Atlas Obscura. Singing Wood Bookshop is outside of Tucson, AZ and offers Southwest-themed books. Sounds like a fun niche stop for the whole family. Bonus: lots of author-signed books available!
Here are some hotels in Tucson, AZ.
