Yes, technically the Bahamas and Turks and Caicos do not touch the Caribbean Sea – but they’re still considered Caribbean Islands. This sunny island is dotted with small, white-sand beaches protected by breakwaters which means its clear waters are calm and gentle enough for even the most novice young swimmer. In addition to the fantastic off-shore snorkeling and diving, there’s a wealth of free things to do on Curacao which makes it easy on the travel budget.
