Florida is a top destination for spring break with families. Earlier this week I asked a few bloggers to let me know what their favorite Florida destinations were, and the overwhelming response was – the beaches! Well, not technically, but the common thread was that the places mentioned are all great beach destinations. So, let’s take a look at the best children’s books for a trip to the Florida Beaches for Spring Break.
General Books about Florida for Kids
While we have a whole section of children’s books set in Florida, I thought I would highlight a handful that make great reading at various age ranges.

Travel Guide for a Trip to Florida
And, finally, a guide book for a trip to Florida. I love the DK book series because they include so many photos. And photos do a great job of getting kids (and parents) excited for their trip. Bonus points for this one – it’s meant for families!
DK Eyewitness Family Guide Florida
by DK Eyewitness (Author)
One of my favorite travel guides for families. Hot tip: make sure you’re getting the latest edition available. If the latest edition is more than a few years old, it may be better to go with another guide.
