The A-Z Challenge ends tomorrow!
PLEASE make sure you download all of the travel journal downloads soon. I will be removing them from the posts by mid-May and they will only be available one of two ways… which I will talk about later.
To access each individual post, use this handy post.
Now for the second post of the day
Kid’s Travel Journal: X is for X Marks the Spot
I’m pretty sure it’s impossible for me to talk about travel in an A-Z listing and not use “X Marks the Spot” for X.
Especially when I’m talking about travel journals and kids.
This month I’ve made several references to Indiana Jones and travel journals. And while, for him, X never marks the spot (except when it did), for my prompt, X can mark whatever you want.
For X I want your kids to map something of their trip. The possibilities are endless. The map can attempt to be accurate, or completely made up. It can be of the journey, the sites seen, favorite sites, what’s near the hotel, what you did on a specific day, or something else entirely. See what your kids do, then encourage them to get creative. Have fun with this!

Update: The download is now only accessible for newsletter subscribers. Subscribe here. Subscribers also get access to the resource library which includes free downloads once a month. If you’re still looking for something to download on this page, I created a one-sheet list of the prompts created for this challenge. Click on the image to download
