We’re on Day 9.
And I’m behind.
But, I’m catching up.
Let’s not waste any time…
Kids Travel Journal: I is for Itinerary
If you’ve been keeping up, I’m sure you noticed something.
This is my 9th travel journal prompt and I’m sure I’ve said 8 times already – this is just so cool to look back on later.
And today’s prompt is no different.
What did you do on vacation? What did you actually do?
Once the trip is over it’s so easy to forget. Even with a travel journal. So, today’s prompt is just one of the tools that help you remember. It’s nothing but a timeline for the day of 5 activities you did. It can be something as simple as:
7:00 | Woke up (if this is the case, I’m sorry. That’s life while traveling with kids.)
11:00 | Went to the museum
1:00 | Ate lunch at the museum’s cafe
4:00 | Filled out the G is for Graphs page of my travel journal
7:00 | Fell asleep
Day 9 of #atozchallenge || I for Itinerary in a Kids' Travel Journal Click To TweetPrint one out for each day, or just do one a trip. Anything is better than nothing.
Another fun thing to do with the itinerary is compare planned to actual… Use a page for the planned activities, then write what was actually done. I’d be surprised if they’re ever the same.

Question for the commenters
I know a big part of the A-Z Challenge is meeting other bloggers and leaving comments. So, to help those of you leaving comments, you can either comment on something above or let me know –
How much of your trip do you like to plan in advance?
And next…
Every day during the challenge I’ll be linking to another participant. Today I introduce…
Weekends in Maine who is doing the A-Zs of all things Maine.
