Scholastic’s Enchantment of the World series includes books focusing on many countries. I always imagine a student getting their first assignment to write a paper about another country. They go to their school’s library, browse the shelves, and come across this series. They pick out the country they’re writing about, open the pages, and experience this country for the first time.

That first impression is important, and I think Scholastic is up to the task.
