I love the use of Instagram posts at the beginning of each chapter. Those, along with Lucy’s realistic reactions to what she’s seeing, really helps make everything more relatable. Especially considering that not only have I posted some of the same things on IG when I was in Germany, but I’ve had or have heard many people having the same thoughts.
