I absolutely love using activity books to help kids learn about new places. I think they help keep the learning light and fun. This book has 90 pages of activities with contributions coming from a variety of people. It highlights the diversity of the state. There are 9 sections in the book covering things like Hispanic Folk Art, Kachinas, Spanish Missions, Sand Painting, Rock Art Designs, Pottery Designs, and Native American Art. Activities are things like word search, puzzles, matching objects, picture construction, and more.
