Day 17 of the A-Z Challenge.
Guys, this is tough! I’m counting down the days.
But, I do get excited when I have a post up and ready to go. So let me make that happen. Here’s Q.
Kids Travel Journal: Q is for Questions
Q
I feel like so many great journeys start off with a question. What is out there? What is it like there?
Kids ask questions.
They’re known for it.
Usually the questions are WHY… but, often when traveling the question is: ARE WE THERE YET?
Your kids will love this prompt. Why? This prompt encourages kids to ask questions!
While traveling questions are bound to pop up. All the new experiences, names, history, sites, food… there’s a lot going on. And since, as parents, we’re likely to not have done our thesis on every location we visit – we just might not have all the answers.
And that’s ok.
But encouraging kids to ask questions helps them learn. And encouraging them to write down those questions helps them feel like if you don’t know the answer, they’ll have a chance to find the answer after the trip.
So, bring on the questions!
Today’s download gives kids little boxes for their questions. Keep the questions in the journal and take the time to find the answers at a time that’s convenient for everyone.

Question for the commenters
I know a big part of the A-Z Challenge is meeting other bloggers and leaving comments. So, to help those of you leaving comments, you can either comment on something above or let me know –
Do you ever research the stuff you saw on a trip once you get back home?

Great idea for keeping kids occupied and hopefully getting some questions that get a bit of a discussion going 🙂

I think research is easy and simple with search engine world. Definitely seeking inforamtion has increased in the world regarding any issue that comes up during the travel. Questions do encourage learners to learn more.

I like this idea! I can’t tell you how many questions my little brothers ask – and they are 12 and 13. This would be great to keep their minds moving.
