There are a lot of resources for French children’s books available to families online, so I’m glad you’re here so that I can sort them out for you.
First, I’m going to share a selection of the French version of books that are popular in English. The book covers are similar to the English versions so all you have to do is click on it to go to the page on Amazon to find out more.
Then I’m going to share a selection of books that are available in both English and French. Bilingual books. Just click on the book cover to find out more about the book.
Finally, I’m going to link to a few online sources for finding more French Children’s Books.

Digital French Children’s Books
I’ve talked about the Epic! App here before. It is my favorite resource for digital children’s books. Some of my favorite travel books for kids are on this app. This gives kids the chance to read a lot of books without spending a lot of money. In addition to the many options of books, read-to-me books, audiobooks, videos and more, they also have books in other languages. Including French.
With a quick search and glance, they have over 100 children’s books in French. Some of these are read-to-me books, too. Lots of them have the cutest illustrations. My kids aren’t French language learners (they’re learning German), but what an amazing resource!

The French Experiments has bilingual stories available on their website. They offer even more on their new website, The Fable Cottage, with a chance to become a member and access even more.
French Books Online sells a ton of books for all ages, but they have a nicely organized children’s section. You can search by age and even find audiobooks for kids.
